klocklind1
I have just got a genuine Rolex 295 crystal and could not fit the genuine crystal gasket ( 2,7mm ) on my TC sub case:( I have mounted it with a clark 2,5 mm gasket but think the date looks a little bit to small So is there anyone here that have tried with different heights on the gasket with a genuine crystal? It looks better with the 2,7 mm gasket but what is the correct height for the 16610 sub? Clarks has both 2,3, 2,5, 2,7, 2,85, 3,00 mm for the C295 On some pictures it looks like magnifying is different even on the genuine???? w.genzo
Gen 16610 height is 2.7. Date disc font changed a bit over the years, but crystal, data mag and gasket are the same.
alligoat
Rolex could give a rat's a$$ about the date mag! So don't get too hung up on it. If the gen 2.7 gasket didn't work, you problem is in the aftermarket crystal retention ring- it ain't a gen part so don't fret about it too much. Don't forget rule no.1- a rep is always a rep! rsh
use a clark 2.7 it is thinner and easier to press, if that fails, gently sand the inner aspect of the retainer (barely)

klocklind1
Thanks all:) YES it is a aftermarket retainingring as it is a TC sub:) Then I order a 2,7 mm gasket from Clarks it is only 4 $ so that is OK
