Guest lunarglide Posted July 19, 2012 Report Posted July 19, 2012 Thinking of purchasing. I appreciate more of the classic design in my watches so love the modern twist within the JLC but also intrigued by the presence of the AP but conscious it may look too big on my small wrists... Opinions please? As in closest to the real thing and overall value for money. Cheers
GBOGH Posted July 19, 2012 Report Posted July 19, 2012 No choice here. AP Diver V3 hands down. JLC is overpriced, over hyped, and underwhelming. The rubber strap looks like it belongs on a girl's Chanel quartz model. The AP Diver V3 is so much more bang for buck, it's not even close!
Guest lunarglide Posted July 19, 2012 Report Posted July 19, 2012 Cheers Guys but maybe looking at the Daytona 6240 thats up for grabs now. I wish I'd never joined this bloody forum now!

Euphoricall78 Posted July 20, 2012 Report Posted July 20, 2012 I haven't tried on the JLC, but i can say the AP Diver v3 that just arrived is hands down one of the nicest pieces i've had my hands on. Definitely one of those staple pieces you need in the rotation.
ericb196 Posted July 21, 2012 Report Posted July 21, 2012 Both too, not the same watches at all. Both are fantastic and well done !!
ryaku Posted July 21, 2012 Report Posted July 21, 2012 Someone says the AP has a much better construction in terms of quality. I personally prefer the JLC hands down.
