Patek
Hi folks, What has been your experience with DG 2813. I have heard horror stories about this movement, which is suppose to be a "better" Miyota 8215 movement. It seems that they come completely dry with no oil in them. Is this true that it has a very short life? Thanks.
hooky
How about the 'feel' of the movement? Have had this one and it feels a lot different than the 2836 clone or swiss movements. In date and time setting, but also the winding mechism feels cheap on the wrist and makes more noise imo.
FxrAndy
The miyota is a better movement and has better QC but is generaly more expencive I have had DGs that have been running for 7 years with out attention though

Jkay
I have extremely bad luck with DG keyless works. Other than that, they run beautifully. When a new one costs less than 20 dollars, why would you worry?
Patek
Thank you all for your replies. Jkay, my worry is not the money. It is the hassle of changing the movement (which takes a lot of time) and finding that it has stopped working after a week.
