Jkay Posted August 29, 2012 Report Share Posted August 29, 2012 A modern Swiss movement has: 3 release notches in the incabloc spring mounting block - China clone does not - note that if you do not know what you are looking at, it is easy to assume I am talking about the curvy spring in this photo. In addition to only having a single balance shock spring release notch, they have nickel plating and pearlage. (circular decorations) You can clearly see the single notch and pearlage here.
