dvn Posted August 30, 2012 Report Posted August 30, 2012 This may sounds stupid but what is right way to adjust date and time on this watch?
Lobster Posted August 30, 2012 Report Posted August 30, 2012 This may sounds stupid but what is right way to adjust date and time on this watch? it's not, I asked the same to a fellow member before I got it Unlock the locking mechanism by turning it 45 degree. So the sides should be facing upwards. Then you pull out the crown like normal (position 2 for date, position 3 for time)

So the sides should be facing upwards. Then you pull out the crown like normal (position 2 for date, position 3 for time) The rep crown lock is just for looks, it doesn't lock anything. The rep crown is just push/pull and normal 1st out position date change and 2nd out position time change. You can wind the movement with the crown in the in position. At least that's the way it is on mine. Maybe there's a super duper version out there with this crown lock function.

Mine when in locked position actually tightens the crown and makes it very hard to wind, hrmm???? I'm enjoying mine, need some straps.... Still [censored] about my cracked bezel
cougar1 Posted September 1, 2012 Report Posted September 1, 2012 ---------- Came in the mail today And fat springbars for Seiko, but fits the JLC perfectly. Great straps ASCI, thanks for putting the pics up! Just a quick question about that nato type strap, can the main strap be detatched from the bottom part (whatever it is called)? this could be a very nice strap for other watches also.
