Mini Melbourne Gtg

About a week ago one of our Melbourne based members Mikephotog asked if anyone had (or knew anyone who had) a special car for a photo shoot.

As it turns out a friend (Godfather of my Daughter) has been crusing the streets in a '66 Chevy for a few years now so I submitted a couple of pic's of his car, Mike soon got back to me that his car was just what he was looking for and a date for the shoot (last Saturday) was made.

Of course this was an opportunity that couldn't be missed so when Saturday rolled around I found myself and daughter on our way to the other side of the city in the back of the Chev to meet up with Mike.

Mike had also arranged for a red Shelby Cobra to be there for the shoot and the Cobra in my mind is a serious drool over car but that's another story.

On arrival Mike and I did a quick wrist check, Mike was wearing a lovely Omega De Ville in SS with gold indices and for myself it was of course the RWG C1, straight after that Mike got down to work snapping the cars and only had one break over the next couple of hours to inspect my collection spread out in the boot of the Chev.

After the shoot there was only time for a little quick chit chat before the long drive home but it was indeed a pleasure to meet with another member and has renewed my interest in getting a large GTG for Melbourne together.

Only one quick pic, this is Mike and myself and my friends Chevy, I as you can see am showing every gram of the 15kgs I put on during my recovery from back injury..........oh that little imp in the back is my Daughter..

BTW, you daughter is a cutie!

Well being a proud Father you'll get no argument out of me

That's one happy-looking imp you've got there!

Well the thing is I didn't even know the cheeky little bugger was in there until I saw the pic!
