I read a review of this unit written by a lab technician, and the tech said they used a half and half mix so I tried it, and it works fine. The black dirt clouds that vibrate out of the joints of a metal watch bracelet are very satisfying to watch.

This piece has a 3 minute self-timer, so I always run it 3 or 4 times in a row.
