How do I install gen insert on ultimate SSD

I got the insert off the watch with out removing the bezel. Now what's the best way to install it as it seems bigger then the insert I removed. Would I shave down the insert or shave down the bezel? How have you guys done it?

Shave the insert, on the outside edge.

+1 just a bit and it will snap in

And no need to shave the back of the insert
