RobbieG Posted November 14, 2006 Report Posted November 14, 2006 The new case is most definitely thicker than the gen. The older case is more like the gen case. But the rehaut is more accurate on the new case and the weight seems better as there is more steel obviously. The Cg's look better on the new case too. They are more rounded into the case than last years model. I have both the old a new case models and like any Rolex rep, they each have good and bad points.
