thl
Hi, I received a 40's ( I suppose) Baume et Mercier chrono 3 9 with this movement. As I don't really like the watch, could the movement be used for a "new" project ( maybe 6263...) ? Thanks for any suggestion. Sorry for the pics! ( camera's gone...) KB
Let me get this right you have a 40's Baume et Mercier which you want to trash to use the movement in a rep! Can I suggest that you have the watch valued at an AD before you start pulling it apart. Ken

Ken Hi Ken, Your suggestion is very welcome, in effect I know its value, but actually, for many reasons, I would prefer to " transform" it in something else without selling it... Cheers THL

They are sold in most mid-upper range jewelery shops in Malls right alongside Raymond Weils, Rados, and Guccis. Good quality watches, but I wouldn't say significant by any means.
