irolexu
I am just curious if anyone can tell me which model sub this dial came off of? I bought it on ebay some time ago but come to think of it I do not know if this dial is technically correct for my build? Just thought I'd let the experts chime in. w.genzo
P,K,Y,F series 2001-2005 so it's technically correct for a late 2004/2005 sub with pointed 4, just check the clasp code that should be AD, CL or MA
dan_189
There was a discussion around this not long ago. The difference is in the spacing of "OYSTER PERTETUAL DATE" on the "MK2" the spacing is closer together on the "MK3" the spacing is further apart Hope this helps, awesome dial

irolexu
I realized last night this dial is an earlier dial when they started popping up on F series No idea but thats awesome lume Thanks! You just can't beat the quality of gen
panerai153
A little off subject, but is that a tritium pearl in your insert? I would expect a lumi pearl to glow like the dial and hands. That dial looks exactly like the dial in my genuine "P" series 16610 from 2000.
danza1812
Mines a gen dial too not sure of the year, but I notice it has a slight gap in between sub and mariner. Think it fits with my overall build which is based on a late y series without lug holes.
fidhle007
iRolexU, what does the rest of your build consist of? Your bezel looks ok for the era...
irolexu
iRolexU, what does the rest of your build consist of? Your bezel looks ok for the era... Hi, everything is factory Rolex except the Sean case and v3 tc 93250, and to answer the the question above regarding the insert this has a brand new correct pointed 4 SL insert
fidhle007
Well, since your sean case probably has an M serial TECHNICALLY speaking you'd need the Mk3 dial I think but I used a Mk2 dial in my Sean build (Basically the same setup as yours) and I really don't care if it's wrong. By the time someone pulls the bracelet off to check the serial they'll know it's fake anyway so why bother fretting about letter spacing over a gap of a few years? My dial was replaced, I got an older one in great shape! As far as you know... What engine is under the hood of your build?
irolexu
Genuine 3135 movement. Only thing rep about this is the case and bracelet.
irolexu
And one more thing who can remove the engraving and do custom serial along with high quality engravings? Might as well convert it to an F series with unique number and ad a damn T! lol
fidhle007
I think Phong is the source for the engraving these days... Where did you find your movement? I'm considering one for my build but I can't swallow the huge expense. There's nothing on ebay for less then $2k...
