KB Posted October 20, 2012 Report Posted October 20, 2012 I found this morning that I couldn't upload pic's on Imageschack, the site stated that I had exceeded the 500 picture limit. Not surprising when I have over 2500 pic's. Well fine I thought I will just have to start paying for premium which is like a couple of bucks a month. But no there is a clause stating that anyone using Imageshack to upload pic's for a website or any form of business must purchase a business account and these start at $10 a month and go up to $100 month. Has anyone noticed this happening on the other image host's as well? Obviously I have to change but if this comes through on all then it is going to hurt. Ken
Ronin Posted October 20, 2012 Report Posted October 20, 2012 Imageshack, Photobucket are basically 5hit these days. They mess with the compression of your photos as well. I switched to "Minus" and it has been excellent. http://minus.com They DON'T alter your photos in any way. So far so good.
Utheman Posted October 20, 2012 Report Posted October 20, 2012 For other image hosting options, here's a good comparison http://www.tested.co...sites-compared/

blazed7 Posted October 20, 2012 Report Posted October 20, 2012 (edited) Interesting that they only sent t the message now. I swear I got that message several months ago and had to make a new account to keep uploading. Edited October 20, 2012 by blazed7
KB Posted October 20, 2012 Author Report Posted October 20, 2012 Probably to do with the fact that I am in Australia. So anyway I have started using Minus and it is a much better host than Imageshack every was anyway, however it seems that you just have one folder and every time you add pic's they just go straight on top of the old ones, which seems a little confusing. Does anyone know how to set it up so each time you upload pic's you start with a fresh page? Ken
