By-Tor
Screw all new "Special Editions". This is the one and only Omega Bond watch.
cougar1
It's very nice, the original bond omega but it's the 2nd best smp! Tried many smps and they are great but the only one I really did 'bond' with (pardon the pun) is the 2254:
By-Tor
Agreed. That black one is really nice.
cougar1
Those two classic smps, the 2254.50 and the 2531.80 that you have BT are the nicest versions imo. The more recent raised marker smps and also the newer ceramic are all a litttle too glossy and shiny for some reason, they are good looking watches but I also feel they lost something along the way. It's subtle but the originals with matte dials and painted markers had a much more sporty casual everyday look. The newer dials lost the nice matte waves and went more for shiny dials (as in the black bond) which makes them a bit more bling and showy and less iconic imo. r11co
Both are beautiful and have graced my collection. Still have the blue one. And I agree with the OP. Edited November 9, 2012 by r11co
