8614 Posted November 12, 2012 Report Posted November 12, 2012 Feel free to criticize any faults. What is the watch model? Thanks.
whoever Posted November 12, 2012 Report Posted November 12, 2012 Yeah, something is not right.....It's like leaning to the left....weird!!!
Mike on a bike Posted November 12, 2012 Report Posted November 12, 2012 Christ & I thought is was just me looked earlier, yea weird. Then I thought Oh cause the crown is at the 4 but look at the straight down third pic from bottom. Reject needs to be turned a click or two to the right for sure.
8614 Posted November 12, 2012 Author Report Posted November 12, 2012 I understand what you mean. Yo think it is a problem for a single model, or it runs throught the whole batch?
Mike on a bike Posted November 12, 2012 Report Posted November 12, 2012 Marlon who knows ask for another , do not think this is such a hot seller that the problem would be know as with all the dials on the new Explorer II .
8614 Posted November 12, 2012 Author Report Posted November 12, 2012 If it were the case, it is something thst can be fixed, no?
Mike on a bike Posted November 13, 2012 Report Posted November 13, 2012 I would imagine, you would have to get an opinion from one of the expert modders here. Is it on the way already can you not refuse?
8614 Posted November 13, 2012 Author Report Posted November 13, 2012 I did refuse, thanks for your help. I stil have received no reply, but maybe it is too early.
Mike on a bike Posted November 13, 2012 Report Posted November 13, 2012 Give it a day or so , they don't like bad news.
8614 Posted November 13, 2012 Author Report Posted November 13, 2012 Here are more pics. I'm not so sure there is a tilt... Are you of the same idea?
Mike on a bike Posted November 14, 2012 Report Posted November 14, 2012 The closer up you are the harder it is to see, did they resend these? Look at last pic judge by equal distance and lugs sorry just looks off.
Hotten Todd Posted November 14, 2012 Report Posted November 14, 2012 I agree with the others, the dial is off axis. Ask for another.
8614 Posted November 14, 2012 Author Report Posted November 14, 2012 Hi Mike, yes they did. thanks for your help and suggestions.
icoopernicus Posted November 14, 2012 Report Posted November 14, 2012 This does look crooked but the date is perfectly centered within the date window, if only the dial were crooked then the date would be crooked in the window. It is possible that the entire movement is crooked inside the case, they usually have play of a degree or so if the movement clamps are not tighted down properly.
Mike on a bike Posted November 14, 2012 Report Posted November 14, 2012 iC, I was thinking about the fix from the beginning and figured about the same as you (not the end of the world). But no sense taking it new that way.
8614 Posted November 17, 2012 Author Report Posted November 17, 2012 Hi, they sent pics of the new watch... what do you think about it?
chrgod Posted November 17, 2012 Report Posted November 17, 2012 The last watch looks good. A special choice by the way, cool watch! I would never have spotted this as a rep in real life. The datefont, is not the usual ETA-font, but not the usual Asian either, cool! The only things that says rep is the applied Chopard-logo on the rotor and the serial number 001/1937.
