irolexu
Just aquired a jackjo SSD from a great member and was curious to know about the bezel assembly. I have a gen insert I want to install on this watch and was curious to know who all has experience with this watch. I don't want to start tearing down the case till I have some insight on what's going on here?
woof*
Do not try and remove it, it's not gen construction. If you change inserts, do it from outside. Pop the pearl out and pry up the old insert from the hole. A gen insert should fit with a tiny bit if fitting.
alligoat
I agree with woof on this. When I did my SSDv2, I actually left the insert in there. I had a gen insert and the rep insert was so good, especially after PBdad relumed it, that I left it in.

kbh
I put a gen insert in my SSD. To be honest I don't remember if I ever had the bezel off, but I do remember that the gen bezel insert snapped in just like a gen. No glue and no chance of it ever coming loose. Alligoat> I assume you must be a contractor, looking at that last picture.
Ephry73
If you MUST put the gen insert in(I've done this a few times with the SD V2 already) you need to pop the crystal out and pry off the old insert out with a scalpel or exacto knife. The gen pearl makes a huge difference. The issue with the gen insert is that you need to trim it in overall diameter and take some off the bottom as well. Not that hard but you need a steady hand and no caffeine in your system. If you do it right, you won't need glue, but I added a bit anyways just for good measure( lost a gen insert diving this past Sumer while taking off the BCD. These watches are great btw. @Alli, Love your build and soon will finish the ones I'm working on. Will document the whole thing but waiting for the Y3135 movement to get serviced first
