Hmmm, sometimes the fantasy does not live up to the reality and looking at those photos reminds me of some post-war industrial gulag with the depressed-looking worker bees in their soulless factory sweating blood to make watches their wages can't afford (although they probably get a company Datejust after 20 years service ). Personally I'd want to believe my GMT was put together by six-foot-plus naked blonde Swiss milkmaids using platinum thread, a unicorn feather and a generous sprinkling of fairy dust - anything else quite frankly is just not good enough

Incidentally I've seen pics of Tag Heuer's equivalent facility, which in contrast looks a lot more 'cosy' and more like a biochem lab than anything else. And I have a (lucky bastard) AD friend who's had a personal guided tour of Patek HQ including the watchmakers facility, he said he couldn't even begin to describe the wonders he saw there
