amigo167
interesting how the serial numbers on the paper and watch match. What do you think? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...mMakeTrack=true
amigo167
What I think is wrong with this: -dial is clearly that of a rep (font, 'swiss made' size) -"officine panerai" on the movement is too bold BTW, i'm fairly new to the whole rep/gen pam market. I only came to the conclusion that this is not a gen after reading all the posts about rep/gen comparisons. so... if i'm wrong, then don't flame me. I feel bad for whoever gets this one. I can imagine someone specifically looking at the paperwork and making sure they match. My guess too is that he printed these out himself (or herself ). How hard would it be with a digital camera and an image program?
cls
add to that, stained birchwood box with chipping around the clasp, and the screwdriver.
baltic
Ah, that'll be the one I reported to E-bay. Pleased they've pulled it. We know we're buying reps, some poor mug could have thought he was getting the real deal - unless he studied here

After some chatting with the seller he pulled it back himself for further investigation (yeah right, he got scared)

With the quality of the reps available here it's all to easy for some poor non-WIS to think he's getting a bargain on the Bay
