6263 Purchase

I have been looking to purchase a 6263 modded and have found this one.  Before I purchase i would like to know if what you think the price should be...not sure if im getting a deal or not?

Gen Tube

Gen T21 Crystal

Valjoux 72 Movement

Bracelet is 571 78350/19 not Gen

It's more like 2000$.. Dw case set and dial is worth a bit and a v72 1200$ and agen crow/tube costs a bit, not sure if that is gen, I can't tell.

Yup, $2000 sounds fair, I wouldn't spend more than that. A lot to be done there if you want something really convincing, better bezel, gen clasp, dial at some point...

Is the movement serviced? If yes then it's a fair price

v72 serviced => 1000€ no problems, unserviced but functional 800€. It don't looks clean from what I see, but difficult to tell with one SD photo

Gen 703 / 7030 crown & tube => 150€

Gen T21 => I'm not really sure this is gen T21 !!! Look at the side photo, it looks ugly as hell. Maybe the gen T21 is not installed ?

DW case set => 260€

Bracelet => 30€ ?

 

For me, not more than 1300€ unserviced and 1500€ serviced

 

But looking at the photos, it don't looks good to me. Look at the bottom sub-dial, it looks very very weird, the dial hole is at the right of the hand / pinion

 

Better to pass IMHO, even at this price

3200?! Best to read up on the 6263/6265 threads and slowly build one yourself. Im trying to do the same

I would recommend against buying complete watches from DW.  The build quality is best described as "slapped together".

This does not surprise me at all - even if the photos are quite small, it looks very "strangely" built...
