Any 168000 ?

I am thinking to get a gen dial from an other member . It's matte dial with yellow lume .

I think it's a 168000 .. Any project here for reference?

The 168000 proceeded the 16800 shortly before the transition to the 16610.

I don't believe the 168000 came with the matte finish dial....unless of course it's the WG ringed markers and glossy gone matte finish.

I believe the only difference in the 16800 and 168000 is that the 16800 came in 316 SS whereas the 168000 used the 904 SS

The 168000 was only produced for 9 months or so. It's a 3035 movement in a 904 ss case.

The dials at that time were all the same- 16800, 168000 and 16610- all w/ gloss dials, wg surrounds and 'Swiss-T<25' at the bottom. The same dial can be used with the 3035 or 3135 movement. Same hands also.

The dial say t Swiss, yellow color lume (uncharged ) . it have boarder around the lume. Well it's same as 16610 but just yellow and matte

I have a 168000 Submariner...the bracelet is light and feels cheap. It came with the watch new when I got it in 1986. Is there a Rolex replacement bracelet of higher quality that will fit?

Your bracelet should be a 93150 with 593 end pieces. Whereas the case for the 168000 is 904L ss, the bracelet on those and the early 16610s was still the old 316L ss. I don't know that there's a better bracelet. A new 93150 would set you back $1000 usd at the Rolex AD.
