abzack
Neither. It is a franken consisting of a modified DW case, gen (or Phong, I forget which) handset, modified MQ dial with genuine coronet, gen crown/tube, gen 7835 bracelet, Ofrei pushers (same as gens) & powered by a Valjoux 72 (V72) movement (same base movement that Rolex used). You might want to take some time & research these frankens as many members have built them (expect to spend $2.5-4k+, depending on how many gen parts you include). I will definitely have to do some more research. Thanks!
lhooq
I will definitely have to do some more research. Thanks! Check my thread repository for a couple of recent projects. Spending thousands of dollars on franken builds is loads of fun! (Er... Where did my savings go?)

abzack
Check my thread repository for a couple of recent projects. Spending thousands of dollars on franken builds is loads of fun! (Er... Where did my savings go?) I have been reading some of your threads just this evening. Great information. Very interesting and informative for anyone interested in these vintage watches. I would love to be able to do something like that. Its the thousands of dollars part that is really holding me back . I just ordered one from Silix with A7750, black dial, white subs and red outer ring. I believe its 40mm, but not sure on size.
