Should I age the insert and creme the markers and hands? or leave it as is? BTW this has a rep superdome from my 1665. I kinda like the way it looks. Clarks t19 was a tight fit and seemed wokkier. bumroxas Posted April 14, 2013 Author Report Share Posted April 14, 2013 Thanks Andy, I actually tried to bake the dial and hands under a halogen light and a bread toaster when I first got it. I have a '66 5512 and although the crystal (when I got it) was very scratched it was otherwise in not particularly bad shape. bumroxas Posted April 14, 2013 Author Report Share Posted April 14, 2013 Its an MBK 1680 case converted to a 5513 from Reg. Yuki insert, pearl and dial. Hand is a mix of mbk and yuki. Gen crown.
