My first attempt at ageing/ruining a watch

I've always wanted an overly aged rolex. Something that looks totally trashed. I finally got off my [censored] and done something about it. It's probably a bit over done, but it's my first attempt... ;)

Opinions?

Also, opinions on an appropriate band that will match.post-53033-136704855354.jpgpost-53033-136704861024.jpg

Well it looks like it has been put thru some torture for sure, it's not my look so to each their own. Not certain how natural that aging looks, usually sapphire watches fair much better on the inside, maybe a bit of lume yellowing or gadding of the dial due to UV exposure. Looks like you put the parts in a cement mixer and then put it back together.... Let one of the aging experts weigh in and they can let you know.

I have never seen a genuine Rolex that looked anything like this, unless it got water inside.Personally, I am not a fan of over "vintigized" watches. I like mine to look well used, but not abused.
