maxse Posted May 1, 2013 Report Posted May 1, 2013 So I have always wanted this watch but always put it off for some reason. It is available in the 7753 without the sunken date wheel. How accurate is this version? I have been out of the loop for a while. http://www.torobravos.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=737 I plan to send it to a watch smith to have it serviced, waterproofed etc... Even thinking about getting a gen deployant and strap. So i want to make sure I have a great version to start with... What do you guys think? Or is there a more accurate version out there?
Inertiadrifter Posted May 1, 2013 Report Posted May 1, 2013 As long as you got the one with A7753 movement, then you will be fine.
mastrmindalliance Posted May 1, 2013 Report Posted May 1, 2013 The rep you linked is a true super rep. One of the first of the newer (hfactory) Pam reps. Its exceptional at that reduced pricThe one with brushed bezel (pam250 iirc) is much nicer IMHO.
peterpotamus Posted May 1, 2013 Report Posted May 1, 2013 with the A7753 will be fine, a nice piece IMO
Watchmeister Posted May 1, 2013 Report Posted May 1, 2013 There are plenty of posts from when it first came out. It is a super rep.
maxse Posted May 1, 2013 Author Report Posted May 1, 2013 (edited) Wow great! Thank you guys! I remember reading a while ago about EL's version being superior to the newer ones etc.. But that was a while ago.. Glad this is a super rep! Going to order it. *EDIT* I'm just not sure if the one I linked to is the newer breed of these reps. Can someone confirm it? kasper618 Posted May 2, 2013 Report Posted May 2, 2013 I have the a7753 pam 196 from toro. The watch is very nice, keeps great time. My chrono minute hand zero's out at 3 minutes instead of 0 though, It was zero in the QC pics, so in shipping it moved somehow. I've been to lazy to take it to my watchmaker.
gwt Posted May 6, 2013 Report Posted May 6, 2013 if I am not mistaken you can reset that by pulling crown out and resetting the chrono reset with crown in full out position!! I think that will work with 7753 movements?? worth a try!
