jackflash Posted May 5, 2013 Report Share Posted May 5, 2013 Hi All, Just modded my 1665 DSDR. The basis being the Perfect Clones ETA version Josh has on offer. What I've done so far: Aftermarket Singer dial aged slightly Aftermarket T19 crystal (I'm not a fan of the Superdome T39) Aged the case slightly The thing what bugs me is the date wheel alignment, some numbers align some don't. The Singer dial window is slightly larger than the Cartel version compensating a little. Anyone know if there's a better date wheel out there? I know the original Rolex date wheel has the numbers printed running in the other direction, so with the ETA movement the date would run in reverse if I overlaid the original.
