Fixed the date change right at 12

my watch always change date at 12:05.

after the watch smith simply reinstall the dial, the date change perfect at 12.

he didn't even remove the date wheel.

for other member who have the same problem, could try that out.

Its just a case of removing the hands from the position, just when the day/date changes, then refit them to midnight.  My Carrera changes Day/Date @ 3am lol.  Will sort mine out in time

Mike, I did all the work on my Carrera, so it was me who refitted the hands   Lesson learned.  I will sort it out when I re-case it in its gen case set I have ordered.  Thanks

Yes. Cement the crown in place.

As the gaskets & threads age/wear, the crown's position (when screwed down) changes, which is normal. You need to find something else to fixate on other than the crown position.
