Maccam26
Just bought this in Beijing today. I'm a casual collector of reps, maybe 10-12 so far, this is my first IWC. I'm sure it's a Big Pilot but can someone tell if it's a 5004? The power reserve was at nil when I purchased, I cranked it up and it increased so the dial works but does it really have about 7 days or will it deplete in a day or so? Seems OK rep with a few normal errors and such but fairly good overall. Good quality bracelet for leather rep. Cheers all, I enjoy reading more than I have posted.Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk HD

Maccam26
paid about $130 us dollars, it was purchased with 2 others so not 100% sure but that is the amount if all 3 were equal price.Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk HD
Jkay
the average movement used in replicas is good for 40 hours if it is running properly
Mirage
Its a 5004-02. Here is a gen for reference: This is not the most accurate version that you have, but the power reserve works. I have the non working PR version:
markiemark
I prefer a non working pr (v1) over a working pr (v2), it looks closer to gen...
Maccam26
yes, the date wheel is definetely better on the other version (V1), closer to dial due to not having the additional internals to power the reserve dial. I still like the functionality of the Dial. The color of the date wheel though, maybe I can swap to white.... if I get brave.
ken1
Hello, im currently in Beijing so im wondering where in beijing did you buy it ?
rolojack
Either silk street (xiushui) or pearl market (hongqiao) I guess.... There are no other place unless you know the high end rep dealers addresses hidden in the Hutongs. But that's not the kind of stuff they carry !!!! Only High end rep and they are rather expensive. Normal price for this rep is around 500 RMB. Cheers !!

I was hoping for to get the same rep we have here with similar price, but get the luxury of seeing handling them. I guess that's down the drain as well... otoupalik
was just there. Go to silk and yashow markets (I find better quality in yashow but better pricing in silk). Both are very fun and you can get some nice pieces for $100 US with good negotiating (some less - we got some for $30 USD!!!!)
