Alex6340
Hi folks, what's about that sub? Is it worth the 508$? http://www.ttw888.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_7&products_id=1234&page=
alligoat
No, buy a TC sub or the BK TW Best. This sub doesn't have the gen like construction and isn't worth the premium price
eduardor
Wtf? of course not mate! That is a terrible rep. If you'd like to buy a sub, and are expecting to pay $500, go for a TC, it's the best submariner available in the market, it takes all the gen parts. You can find it here http://blog.tc-sub.com/ There is also a version with a non swiss movement wich is not listed in TC watches list wich is a little cheaper, just ask him for that one and you are good to go. Good luck
preacher62
Hi folks, what's about that sub? Is it worth the 508$?http://www.ttw888.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_7&products_id=1234&page=3You're paying extra for the service which, personally I would not buy from a rep dealer. I like Andrew and have spent a lot with him but what you see is what you get. I would rather purchase the 16610 of my choice...get it in my hands and then (I would service it myself) take it to a local watchmaker or send it to one of our CONUS RWG watchmakers or EU watchmakers. That way, you can feel better about the service. I guess that I do not have enough confidence in our "trusted" dealers to believe that they are going to furnish something that I cannot see or touch. Alex6340
Thanks a lot for the quick help. I'm already in touch with TC. But it's the first time I saw this rep. So thought to ask the specialists.

Good luck TC no longer carries any swiss movements due to scarcity and high prices!! He only sells his TC subs with the new TC 2824 movement. Check his blog for more info. http://blog.tc-sub.com/2013/02/130-tc-2824-eta-2824-2-super-clone.html

eduardor
He hasn't updated the prices on his watch list so now it shoud be $450 since all come with TC 2824, since he last quoted me: ''I have the parts for TC Sub LV Type II in stock but I don't have any build in one piece for immediate shipment. The current turnaround time is 19 to 21 days if you like to place an order. Cost of TC LV Sub Type II with ETA 2824 is US$585 I'm also offering TC LV Sub Type II with TC 2824 movement at US$450. Type II is of exact specs to Type I except Type II has no bezel insert. It's a perfect launch pad for members who wants to put a gen bezel insert on, whether green or black, or go for a franken project.''
