shad0w Posted July 11, 2013 Report Posted July 11, 2013 Has anyone seen this!? I've been dying for one of these and I didn't think they would make one with a great looking rotor. I hope they made it with super rep quality.... If they did "take my money!" What do you guys think?

denimhead Posted July 11, 2013 Report Posted July 11, 2013 Same they can't replicate the plate engravings as per the new generation of Panerai reps. All that effort on the rotor and........ I guess that will be the next ploy for us to buy the next version that's on offer!

lfovco Posted July 12, 2013 Report Posted July 12, 2013 Even in the bad pictures on the site it looks pretty good. Few days ago I happened to be close to an AD, could not resist walking in. They had both, 39mm and the 41mm models. I was wearing my Patek Nautilus, so I ended up comparing all of them. Nautilus still feels the best to me but the 41mm is super nice. 39mm felt a bit too small. One thing about Genuine 15400 is that it is 9.80mm thick. Andrew stated 11mm, I wonder if this is an accurate measurement. That said, this rep just jumped on top of my shopping list. Hopefully there will be video of it soon up.

lfovco Posted July 14, 2013 Report Posted July 14, 2013 Hmm, I could not find that video on perfect clones for some reason. While looks closer at the pics I noticed there are some issues with the screws on the bezel. Maybe these are shots of a prototype but the spacing is not even.

My first AP actually - been on the verge of buying one for a few months and couldn't make up my mind what to get. Looks like this beauty conquered my heart.
