Glasshute 100 year old movement rehoused and looking elegant

Guys

Just finished this today and although not everyone's bag, I love the elegance and look of these pieces and with it's very fine Rose Gold Hands and crown, is a watch you will rarely see if at all!

The transplant itself is quite easy with a few simple hobby tools and patience and good eyes. The more complicated ones like the Repeater project I leave to the Smiths of the world.

I have posted a similar stunner in the Gen section for sale. I hope you like them.

Regards

AJ

Beautifully elegant whilst being both delicate and robust. This is definitely my bag for sure!

I SO want to do a project like this! An old IWC movement, or something. Some of the old Hamilton pocket watch movements are really cool. Any tips? Did you source the case from Ofrei?
