Libertatia Posted July 29, 2013 Report Posted July 29, 2013 Not much to report here. Clarks crystal is better because it doesn't seem to have any blue tint what so ever. Not sure why, perhaps different materials? Also, the gasket I got with the clarks crystal (2.7mm), does fit the BP sub. It needs a little squeeze, but does fit, and doesn't need the stock gasket which people have gone on about before. (I accidently deformed the original gasket so I had no choice but to make it fit) I only got this crystal because I chipped the last one, but even if I had not chipped it, this is a well worth it mod for any BP sub C owner out there. With the clarks, you can tick off another flaw, the annoying blue tint. Heres a link to the crystal I bought. They may be sold out, but he restocks them frequently. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Clark-Sapphire-crystal-for-Rolex-25-295C-2-295C2-25-295C2-/251301716352?ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:US:1123
wiseguy1481 Posted July 29, 2013 Report Posted July 29, 2013 I agree, the blue tint (AR'd) is suppose to be on the Sub-c... AND... I LOVE the AR'd (blue tint) over the non-AR'd crystals.
irolexu Posted July 30, 2013 Report Posted July 30, 2013 My gen subc had the blue tint... Very lightly though not as aggressive as bp
jtiis Posted August 1, 2013 Report Posted August 1, 2013 Does the GMT IIc use the same oem crystal as the sub c?
giobo Posted August 2, 2013 Report Posted August 2, 2013 Not sure but gen Gmt hasn't 2,5 magSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
