2 months into the 19th Century Chronograph Repeater build

Some of you guys know that I have played with Antique movements and re cased them, indeed two of our well known members here on the Forum have in total 3, soon to be 4 of my re cased creations.

I have been working on this one for a few months and reckon that when the case is correctly made (this was version 1) it will be something of a true Antique rarity as this is a high grade, late 19th Century chronograph 1/4 repeater that looks and sound lovely.

Enjoy the photos as I think if you are like me, the movement is as good looking, if not better than the face on such movements.

Regards

AJ

Still with the case guy to complete version 2 of the case in the fashion of an IWC Portugese but bigger, he did not allow enough for the lugs on version 1, the dial is a full 50mm diameter.

I might have a vid somewhere of the repeater, I certainly have of the movement working as it was totally serviced prior to commencing the build.

Thanks

AJ
