Sparkal
Hey gents. Let me start by saying u have never really been an omega fan. This has changed recently after handling some nice omega. I am giving this speedy a test drive from a jeweler. He is not an omega ad and got this as a trade. Price is reasonable (I think) but he does not have the papers as yet. I ha e not yet seen a good rep of these on the sites apart from the sold out version but just wanting to be sure before going to an omega ad for an assessment It feels gen however the noisy rotor give me some hesitation.... What do you reckon? Gen? If so is 1800 a fair price? I have converted nz dollars to USD for this total Thanks in advance sent from my smart phone whilst sitting on the toilet

fitmic
I can't really comment about price. There once was a very nice rep of that watch, but I think it had happy clown feet. Why not ask him to open the case back and examine the movement?
lhooq
Depending on the condition, anything between USD 1500 to 2000 would be fair for a Speedy Date. I'm not seeing heavy wear in those shots, so 1800 seems fair.
