Help With My Swiss 2824 In A Gen

I've had several watches with a 2824 but my movement knowledge is limited to the 6497. Here is the problem. I have a gen with a swiss 2824 but when I wind it, the rotor moves and it feels very sticky. This only happens when it is going clockwise, the crown feels very smooth going counterclockwise, so I don't think it is the stem or case tube. My first thought was that it winded fully, but it does this even after letting it sit for 24 hours. I sent it for repair and it came back the exact same way but it wasn't doing this the first few weeks I had it, it was always very smooth as my other watches with a 2824, so,,,any advice before I send this back another time. Could this be normal?
