Finepics
An envelope arrived today for me with the following inside!!! So which watch do I wear - have asked this already but thinking of a vintage as that is not going to be seen as a blatant fake!!! I blanked some bits out as it's not something you can just turn up to (just in case anyone thinks they can!!!)
eunomians
Wow, that's great! You gonna wear a PAM rep?
ubiquitous
I hate to say it, but every RWG lurking Paneristi attending that event is going to be looking for you now Seriously... Have fun! Should be a great time!
Watchmeister
Have fun. It should be a lot of fun. If you are going to wear a PAM rep definitely go vintage. But you may want to find out whether anyone from the actual company will be there. After all, there are very few vintages and very many vintage reps. Cucumber_Jones
Mark - wear your 201a. I really wanna hear how it goes.
Craytonic
I don't think I would wear a fake watch to a company sponsored event...
rek001
Hmmm , if you wear vintage but it looks new and shiny... I'd wear the best, most accurately modded modern one you have. Usually at these types of events the lighting is not dental-chair bright, so I don't think you'll be called out.
tvt
I have attended similar Panerai events in the past, show some class and wear a gen, even if it is not Panerai. These are really nice events and wearing a fake is just rude. The last one I went to had not only a full high end bar but a FULL dinner as well PLUS freebies. The gift bag had some really cool Panerai shirts in them, I manges to get two. Have fun.

I reckon my vintage 6152 would be alright - they might even appreciate it as it's a "homage" not a fake!!!!!
rmcsherry
You blanked out the name, and left in the logo of one of the UK's best known high-end watch dealers It sounds like a great event, although best to wear flame retardant clothing for the inevitable interactions with *the purists*. rek001
tvt, I remember you going to that Panerai event. It was held at the Shedd Aquarium, yes? Finepics, I agree, you should wear a gen, and have a lot of fun, you lucky dog. Tell us all about it afterwards.
