ceocorona Posted October 23, 2013 Author Report Posted October 23, 2013 UPDATE... its been discussed in details on RWI but the $200 "asian clone 2836" is not really a swiss close. Its a lesser movement with some known problems and QA issues. Just FYI. I decided to stick with a swiss white dial and "asian close" black dial but I plan to swap in a franken movement into this. No blue dial folks Lol

I never noticed how "off" it was. I think black and the creme I just QC'd are pretty nice. Im excited now! Why did I wait this long for these AWESOME reps!
ceocorona Posted November 25, 2013 Author Report Posted November 25, 2013 there is a distinct difference in the quality of the bezel engravings on the swiss to asian. The asian bezel engravings are off centered and seem to be more shallow then the swiss. The swiss engravings are perfectly centered. Pictures to follow.
importr Posted December 1, 2013 Report Posted December 1, 2013 This is true. I rejected the first watch that was offered because the engraving was so bad. Off centre and sloppy. The dealer argued that it was my eyesight blah blah. Second one was as good as I was gonna get . But then I still wasn't happy so ended up putting a gen bezel on!
