Crown tube size for Ult DSSD

Hi guys.

Does anyone know the size for the Crown tube before I go destroying mine? The tube has two sets of external threads.

my "ultimate" noob DSSD arrived with a very cross-threaded tube. I'm quite [censored] off about it but i reckon I can sort it myself rather than send it back.

I was reading yesterday over at one of the other forums that the crown and tube are 8 mm. And I haven't seen any replacement ones around. Rafflestime has the 8 mm set up but it's for the old 6538 (and 5510) so it's not the same thing.

 

Maybe the dealer could send you a replacement crown and tube and you (or a watchmaker) could put them in. beats sending the watch back to China.
