martijnp
Sad news... Angus checked with the maker and confirmed that the new Navitimer will have a low beat 21.600 movement! "The maker wants to engrave the movement and only low beat movement can do this..." I don't get it, the Navitimers are having a closed caseback, so why on earth put they a 21.6k movement inside? That's not what I expected, especially not for that price! 21.600 / 21J movements are good movements but I hoped for a 7750 in this Navi... hansmeier
It IS a A7750 movement with working chrono, but only at 21.600 bph (6 ticks per second). But you're right, this is definitely NOT what we all expected...

hansmeier
No news about the price yet... Angus removed the $388 from his website and said he will check the price with the maker.Really hoping that the maker will do a v2 of this with a regular (28800) 7750 movement! BMW760
388 seems a bit high but honestly, that's going to be the going rate for decent reps now.
hansmeier
If it was a decent rep $388 would be ok...
BMW760
That's a whole different debate I guess. Considering the previous versions , I would call this decent. As long as you stay with a black datewheel model.
hansmeier
Agreed, compared to previous versions this is a huge step forwards!Personally, for me this is a rep within the $250-300 range, especially with a low beat movement. I would happily pay $300+ if this Navi were in the top-noob-fac-league, like the Superocean Abyss Chrono for example...
importr
For me it has to be an a7753, to fix the sunken date . I can live with no quick set date. Then sort out the subdial size. Job done, perfect v2. Otherwise I can do the raised dw mod on a 7750 but would rather not mess with it if possible.
