tmeschoc
Hi all, I joined rwg a couple of weeks ago, having done some reading job and known there are a few factories that make different versions of replica watches. Like Noob, BP, G5, Taiwan, etc. Now, I'm considering to get myself an Omega Planet Ocean replica watch as a gift in the new 2014, I searched on here and read some reviews, and finally found those good quality Planet Ocean replicas are made by Noob and BP, am I right? But I really don't know which one to choose, a Noob PO with Asia 2836 movement or a BP PO with Clone 8500 movement? I need your advice, thanks. Regards, T

fidhle007
So you gave us exactly 33 minutes in the middle of the night to answer a question that can easily be answered with the "SEARCH" function built into the site? This ought to be good...

davesteel
FYI it seems that a bunch of people are waiting on new and better Ceramic bezel versions of the PO - 42 and 45 - from Noob factory. I believe they recently came out with (>6 months ago) good CrPO versions.... also the LMLE (ceramic glossy dial/bezel, red detailing) from Noob is very accurate to gen but obviously there are always flaws, it being a rep. If you would go for the aluminum bezel versions then you should probably go with the latest UPO (45mm) which is from a different factory. If you really want super accurate rep, it's going to require a mix build e.g. best case base for franken is probably v5 PO (42mm) but with dial from a Noob, etc. but you can do a whole search for that . And it should go without saying that opinions vary. cheers dave "this is my first post helping a noob, rather than being a noob" steel
indywatchguy
I always steer anyone wanting the best Omega rep to the Noob factory LMPO. Order it from www.puretime-asia.com You will NOT be disappointed! Awesome watch! Closest one to gen yet!

frost
Does anyone have a recommendation on the best 2201.50 rep (Quantum of Solace PO). This is the closed-back non-ceramic version. I've got one from a TD, but I'm not sure which factory it's from.

Personally, I would be more inclined to splurge for a gen once the pricing enters that range.
fidhle007
It won't, I've played the frankens game long enough to know where the parts costs are and unless there are issues you won't find one for less than $3k.
Corral
My advise is to get a Noob ceramic PO or Noob orange Aluminum PO, forget about the Miyota since the 2836-2 is more refined. Nobody out in the real world, except for a professional will know it is not an 8500. The decision is yours, though. Corral
Neither the ceramic or aluminum bezel Noob PO will fade, that was an issue with the BP ceramic PO and don't take my word for it but I think they resolved that already. The only problem with the noob PO is the paint used for the dial is vulnerable to heat so don't leave your watch in the sun or use heat producing flashes or lights to charge the lume or to take pictures. Thrasher
Did anyone buy a 8215 based watch if so how is that movement working out for you?
Smab
Hi there. No such thing as a BP 8500 clone. BP uses claimed "swiss" or asian clone 2824-2. Clone 8500 is a modified Miyota from a third factory (not Noob or BP). Noob only uses an asian clone, I believe it is the Sea-Gull ST2130. Remember the Orange PO is not ceramic bezel, not even the newest range GENS. Only Black and Blue (Ti) is ceramic.
