lhooq
Farewell to a talented actor. I cannot remember ever seeing a poor performance out of PSH. Very enlightening thread, to say the least.
Noel Fleischer
What i meent by cure was just rehab ect, a normal person shouldent let there fameli suffer like this. And diabetic is far from the same thing, im afraid! Actually there is a lot more similarity than you may imagine. And you're right, a normal person would never do the things that an Addict would. That's why they consider it an illness. Look at Alcoholism for example. Alcohol is mostly carbs, and Alcoholics do not process it the same way that a regular person might. Consider the possibility that the Alcoholic/Addict, like the Diabetic, lacks an enzyme needed to metabolize the alcohol a or even another substance like heroin. Legend
whatever the case may be, lets show some respect to the deceased and his family. Even if Mr Hoffman's demise is a consequence of a lack of self-discipline, or whatever, he has paid the price for it already. He was a man who lived and breathed and was good at his job as an actor. Regarding his personal life, that was his own affair and not for us to judge, unless we were intimately acquainted with him.
