rjk Posted February 11, 2014 Report Posted February 11, 2014 The white insert is a glaring error, I'd pump some cash for two things: 1. platinum insert mod 2.Tritec BG-W9 relume well, there'a also room for a regulation and water resistance.. not sure if BK did that last one.

The platinum insert mod is the painting mod? What do you think the ods are of finding a gen insert or do gens not fit? I would try painting but honestly I don't think it would come out pretty if i do it .

Thanks:) After doing some research, I think it means getting some acetone, some platinum colored paint and a fine tip brush. I'm thinking scale model paint but I wonder if anyone that has done the mod can share which brand paint/color they successfully applied.
archierocks Posted February 17, 2014 Report Posted February 17, 2014 there is a form of platinum micro plating i remember using it making high end costume jewellery a few years back dunno if it could be used but would prob be more expensive than the rep lol
