How are reps made?

So, I'm not a newbie. I have about 10 reps and a gen, but my question is, how are reps made? It's gotta take a butt load of tooling equipment to reproduce a good quality Rolex or Pam copy. Does anyone know the steps from raw materials to finished product and how it all comes together? Especially with so many brands and models. Thanks in advance.
