On another forum, I read the BP SD is the absolute best, I should steer clear off the eta movements, as they all use refurbs, and that the DSSD is an awesome every day watch...not too thick. Can anyone with experience chime in please and offer advice? Many thanks

The DSSD is very top heavy I think...

I would get a ceramic submariner no-date for everyday wear.. Any color you like :)

BP used to have a bad bracelet. My diver extension did not function properly. And I was not the only one having problems.

I don`t know if they still do.... Maybe someone else can chime in here??

As I can figure out from reading is that BP is the best watch sans bracelet, and the noob has the better bracelet but has other minor flaws..

I found the DSSD to be way too big. The Sea-Dweller is just right. The BPSD is a hell of a good watch with a little bit of work:

I added a gen crown , Clark's hands and a TC bracelet to mine.

JKay I am as big as they come and I did not like it on.

I've had one for four years now and while I love it, it beats up your wrist too much to wear every day.

The DSSD still is my toughest rep, it takes a beating if that is what You mean by everyday wear. With the micro-adjustable glidelock clasp it also sits so well on the wrist that I don´t mind it being slightly top-heavy. Than the BD Seadweller 16600 is an awfully good watch too as said above, also some 15mm thick
