denimhead
I could do with some advise from the newer model Rolex experts on the forum about this piece as I'm more of a Vintage Man. This was purchased back in 2008 from Natalie watches. At the time it was very much at the top of the tree in terms of reps, And I'm sure if memory serves me right it was an eye watering £500.00!! oh how we've all learned over the years My question is how good is the case set in terms of closeness to gen? Is it worth considering for a Build? It has a nice 93250 on it but with the usual give away rounded '3's. The movement appears to be a swiss 2836-1 and the dials a glossy Maxi dial. Any idea about what the parts are worth? based on the fact that the keyless works need re setting apart from that it seems to be running fine Appreciate feedback chaps DH
sputim
The case doesn't look to bad but definitely not perfect. Personally I like the rehaut since this is often very bad when it comes to ordinary 16610 reps. The cg's are not very nice but you could shave them a little since they are to fat. If you have the movement fixed, the cg's shaved correctly and probably add a tc v5 bracelet this would look quite nice and definitely worth some additional investment. And hopefully TC soon introduces some new maxi dials since the indices on yours don't look to accurate have fun with the build
stormclock
I've been toying with the idea of installing a maxi dial from a ceramic watch into a classic sub or gmt. Does it fit? I didn't try myself yet.
alligoat
Another case from Switzerladn! The SN would help, but it's undoubtably a chinese case- you'd have to figure it has the old style bezel assembly. Maybe the 2836-1 is worth 100 pounds these days rehaut doesn't look too bad! Cut your losses and run!
