How to keep a daytona alive

I absolutely love the daytona design but am worried about the issues it has.

 

Would i be alright if i only wear it 2 days a week not even and hack it when its not on my wrist?

It's not how you use it, it's the problem with the movement mod. Wear every day if you like. If it's going to die, it will die weather you wear it or not

Hi and welcome. Buy the Daytona when You already have several/other watches and not as the first one. It´s a complicated watch to buy - later - from a TD You already had several transactions with, at least it will run on arrival, 25% die on the first few days. Never use the chrono, use it as little as possible because if it runs in the first place the movement gets worse over time. There is a brand new quartz version out with microstepper for the Chrono and ticking seconds at the small six.

Search out the 'powdered graphite' thread & give it to your watchmaker. To date, none of the treated watches have failed.
