As stated, what would be a fair asking price for a used gen IWC 3717 case set? Somewhere around $750?

Possibly, but I won't pay that much just for a case. The most difficult part of a rep to see a difference to the gen. Normally uninteresting, but possibly someone wants to build a complete franken.

Don't wanna F-up your thread, but I used to be able to source complete case sets for €500 (equals $690). But then again, gen 3717 parts are rare nowadays. Or any IWC part for that matter...

You are not F-ing my thread, I have no idea what the prices are for gen 3717 parts, so I had just taken a guess. I am thinking about selling my 3717 (as parts or as a complete watch), and I wanted to know how much I can get for it if I am going to part it out.
