whos handset would you use on this 5500 explorer build?

need suggestions on a handset......ingredients so far are:

gen case 5500

gen crown

gen crystal

yuki dial lightly aged

2824 movement....................thanks in advance for any suggestions......kin tama

I'm in the middle of a similar project and used TC's handset. I also bought one of Clark's, but TC's looked better when I had them both in front of me. You'll have to get them re-lumed of course.

 

You could also search for a set of gen Tudor hands. I tried looking for awhile and gave up without success, but it's another option as Tudor used ETA movements.

Tudor handsets are incredibly rare, terribly expensive, and indistinguishable from TC's handset. Wish I'd had the TC option available to me when I was putting together one of my Explorers.

Yep. I was amazed to get the gen Tudor hands for my DateJust build at a good price, but could never find a Sub set that I could justify.

 

My Explorer build is off with PBdad now ... can't wait for it's return.

I used Clark's hour and minute hands and a Yuki seconds hand for mine...
