Guys, I've been searching for a gen bezel assembly for a new Franken I recently purchased from wiseguy. My search yielded this eBay seller in India that has a gen dial and bezel set for $800. This seems like a great price, but feels risky. He would not sell me just the bezel assembly.

I'd be grateful for your expert eyes to determine whether these look like the real deal.

Note: The seller has multiple sets.

I don't know either, but he's got a very good rating and has sold other parts at a great deal.

If these are real, this price is outstanding!

The stuff seems gen but the prices are weird low and he has so many sets it boggles my mind. If it seems to good to be true, it prob is right?

From what I've gathered they are legit pieces.  The dial is an MK2 which is whats found in the v3 noob.  Now if you buy and received the pictured parts is another story.  I am very tempted to pull the trigger...

Dave: he also has 100% positive feedback.

I simultaneously worry that it's too good to be true and yet also remain tempted to pull the trigger.

I've asked the seller to confirm authenticity and will report back his response.

I'm willing to volunteer as a guinea pig if someone will split it with me.  I only want the bezel/insert assembly if someone only needs the dial.  He will not split them up.

I'm learning that these bezels are a [censored] to find.

On the plus side, the seller guaranteed authenticity and has 100% positive feedback on 300 transactions. After purchasing, however, I got a call from paypal asking me to confirm the purchase, which I did. That did not raise my confidence level.

I'd love to hear more from the experts on this forum as to whether these are actually genuine.

I think nobody should buy any more until glight gets his and confirms it's what we saw in the pics. That's the safest thing to do imo

If you must have it just pay with Paypal (not gift) and record the box being opened maybe to make sure all is ok, Paypal backs the buyer more so it's a risk but not a huge one

I've just bought a set!

If I was more confident I would buy them all!!!  The Gmt sets are not quite as good a deal as they are more popular. Now I need a v3 noob!!

Shame he has not got Deepsea inserts!!

Indians and especially Dehli like their bling and there is serious wealth there to mod gen watches with Diamonds etc!

The wait begoins  for me and my fellow member!! :1a: or :cc_hang:

Yep, If this turns out well he will wish he had charged more!

The dial will go for that alone and I only want the insert and bezel assembly to be honest.

Well, I will enjoy my popcorn waiting for the mailman to arrive :). WTF right?

I agree! Can't wait for this to arrive. Now I just have to sell my franken GMT to fund this new project. Haha
