I've heard mixed things on different forums...but for $45 bucks what the hell. I bought number 3 and 5 about a week ago. I don't know how accurate they are to gen-spec, but I'm going to beat up and vintage them anyway. They take a 29mm dial. Other than that, I'll try to remember to post when they arrive.

Some of the cases used in ultra-low price applications lack the internal groove the case clamp/tabs slip into.  They are meant to be used with the "springy" plastic movement spacer...  This pic is a bit fuzzy but there may be a groove in this one.  I recently had someone send me a couple of projects to "finish" and the DJ cases had no tab groove...

I have cut quite a few case clamp grooves in cases using a cut-off disc in a Dremel tool while slowly turning the case in the lathe.

It's messy but it's quick and easy.

Use a Sharpie to make a line where you need the groove and start the disc on the line.

I ground a lathe bit to cut the groove when I made the Oysterquartz case but it doesn't seem worth it to me as it's way easier to get a case that already has a groove...
