chillihead
As I'm not an expert I would like some advice from some of you season pros. I have just had some QC's back from a trusted and well respected TD for a 42 CRPO by BP All I want to know is it my eyes or is the top marker above the 12 crooked ie not straight? Also this is meant to be a Swiss 2824 movement can any of you verify this as I haven't enough Experience to tell. I know some of you disapprove of posting QC's but I haven't mentioned the dealers name and I just want Some advice cause these watches aren't cheap! ustmisha
It's a bit crooked. If we take an Omega logo and lettering as horizontal line, then the 12 is horizontal too, but the above marker is crooked. BTW Why is the bezel insert separately? Smab
Why on earth is the bezel not mounted??? Edited July 1, 2014 by Smab
Smab
At least it is not the clone of a clone Asian 2836, probably a reassembled swiss ETA. It is difficult to tell without proper macro to see the actual ETA stamp by the balance wheel.

It is difficult to tell without proper macro to see the actual ETA stamp by the balance wheel. It's an Asian good clone, in my view. The cut below the balance wheel, just right to the eta mark, is straight in the clones and quarter-moon shaped in the Gen.
Pp4811
The marker at 3 is also crooked by my eyes.
