Logo repaint on IWC Pilot Chrono Top Gun 3789 V3

So, here we are. Got this nice piece and noticed how the carved logo is too white respect to the gen.

So I decided to do something about it.

 

1st: remove all the paint!

With a sharpened 0.8 screwdriver and a syringe needle i removed most of the paint, then with nitro thinner I finished:

 

 

2nd: prepare a color that resemble the gen. I had some synthetic silver enamel at home. Too light... So I mixed it with some black enamel to get a more similar color. Then with an oiler I applied it.

Note this is the 1st attempt. Since the final result is not exactly as sharp as I'd have accepted, I'll redo again the process.

 

3rd: wait the enamel to dry, and remove the excess with a hard rag, poured with some nitro thinner:

 

 

Most probably I'll redo the task, as I'm not fully satisfied. But it's something feasible
